Northern AIM VCT PLC is a Venture Capital Trust which was established in 2000 with the principal objective of investing in a portfolio consisting mainly of investments in quoted and unquoted smaller UK companies. In September 2011, Northern AIM VCT merged with Northern 3 VCT PLC and the assets and liabilities of Northern AIM VCT were transferred to Northern 3 VCT in consideration for the issue of new ordinary shares in Northern 3 VCT.
