Iain Macdonald
Iain is a non-executive director of Northern AIM VCT PLC. He was a senior marketing executive with IBM in Europe until 1984 when he established ComputerGroup, a UK-wide supplier of PCs, networks and associated services. In 1989 ComputerGroup was acquired by SHL Systemhouse Inc, a NASDAQ-quoted company, and he became European CEO and a main board director of SHL. He left the company in 1994 and has subsequently assisted the development of a series of business ventures, mainly in the high-tech sector. He is a non-executive director of Sykes Enterprises Inc, a US-based, NASDAQ-listed, global outsourcing provider of customer contact services.
