Chris held a number of positions in manufacturing businesses and was group chief executive of Whessoe plc from 1988 until 2000. He is now managing partner of io solutions, e-business strategy advisers. He is chairman of the North East Regional Portal 2001 Limited and a non-executive director of a number of other companies.
